Protec Antimicrobial Cleaning Cartridge
The Honeywell Mist Mate Cool Mist Humidifier can use Protec Humidifier Cleaning Balls. Protec Antimicrobial Cleaning Cartridges feature a patented antimicrobial, Aquastat that continuously works to hinder the growth of bacteria and mold. They're also capable of preventing the buildup of slime in the water and humidifier surfaces. Protec Antimicrobial Cleaning Cartridges work in all humidifiers and are safe/non-toxic. Aquastat contains no harsh chemicals or harsh acids making the cleaning action just as gentle as water on your humidifier surfaces and components.

A: The Honeywell MistMate Cool Mist Humidifier (Model HUL520) Series is designed to quietly provide visible cool moisture. Water is released from the Water Tank into Water Reservoir where a small disk vibrates at a high frequency to break the water into tiny droplets. A small, ultra quiet fan propels the droplets into the air.

Great purchase!
My bedroom is dry and I needed something small that would provide a good mist so my sinuses were not so dry in the morning. This unit is VERY easy to use and set up and did the trick.

Cute

Gets job done!
Does an excellent job of humidifying a small to medium size room. The cleaning process 2 stages first descale with vinegar and disinfect with bleach is a bit cumbersome but is small price to pay for a bedside reliable humidifier

Humidifier that works for travel
I travel by car to work and spend 3 nights per week in hotels. I have a sinus condition that requires adequate humidity. I tried some small travel humidifiers that did not provide enough humidity and broke in a few weeks. I then switched to the Mist Mate and have been very pleased - yes, it is somewhat larger than most travel humidifiers but it provides plenty of moisture in the air & it has survived a winter of travel!
